This is the first I have heard of anyone looking into this. I am thrilled to see it being taken seriously.
The first thing that occurred to me the day this letter was published was to wonder how 34 student groups could hammer out a statement overnight and get it published even as the horrors of October 7 were still underway. That Harvard itself failed to show any interest in this question was, from the start, a clear indication of its thoroughly dishonest complicity with the Jew hatred the letter itself reveals. This possible complicity with terrorism is VERY far beyond being a simple free speech issue. I seriously hope the Trump administration does not ease up on Harvard. Please.
It seems likely there was advance planning, if only to collect the points of contact for the 33 groups to then be activated as needed. Did the organizers know to expect something significant? Did outside groups suggest the language, which is very similar or identical to letters by groups on other campuses? Is it possible Harvard employees such as faculty advisors to these groups had no role or knowledge of outside influence or coordination? What might discovery of emails show? We will probably never know.
These are important questions. While it seems unlikely that a Harvard student was told by Hamas "we are launching a massive surprise attack against the Zionist Entity tomorrow", one could imagine instead "something really big will happen tomorrow, be ready to support Palestine".
If I learned something like that I'd tip off the authorities. If Harvard students knew and didn't blow the whistle, it reflects poorly on them.
I am so glad you are keeping this issue alive. Very important investigation.

It wasn’t even overnight it was same day

The details could be important.
