It is odd that the Palestinian flag is the same as the Jordanian flag except that the Jordanian flag has a 7 pointed white star in the red chevron. I'm surprised that I haven't seen counterdemonstrators carrying Jordanian flags, or chalking white stars onto chalked Palestinian flags.
Does anyone know why the 2 flags are so similar? Before 1967 were the Jordanians trying to say that Jordan is Palestine?
