The Gaza body handover was even more grotesque than the NYT reported. An Israeli who is on one of journalist WhatsApp groups sent me a video of the body handover event showing rows of kids in front of the stage chanting gleefully. I can understand why Israelis decline to show such video of grotesque disrespect for the dead, but this hides the depravity from the outside world, giving space for the NYT to claim that the handover was toned down.
It is ironic that one of the 4 cheered corpses turned out to be that of an Arab woman.
