The NYT reports "Mohanad Hage Ali, a Beirut-based fellow at the Carnegie Middle East Center, said that Israel was adopting a “Gaza-like approach in southern Lebanon,” and that evacuation warnings were “absurd” because Lebanese civilians would have no idea where Hezbollah weapons were stashed. Lebanon’s information minister, Ziad Makary, called the warnings a form of “psychological warfare.”"

I bet that the people who put in Hezbollah "Rocket Launcher Rooms" in their houses know where the weapons are stashed. And given the size of the weapons as seen in the photos at https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-releases-photos-of-hezbollah-storing-munitions-in-lebanese-civilian-homes/ I bet that the neighbors know as well. And I bet that Lebanon’s information minister, Ziad Makary knows this as well, and is purposely covering for Hezbollah.

The bit on Hillary made me think back to 2016. I voted for her, even though I had qualms given her history. However, I never accepted the extreme hype about Trump at the time, and when I watched his policies unfold, especially re Israel, I relaxed. Now, Hillary's views here on Israel and the pro-Hamas protesters seem to put her deeply at odds with the direction of her party and on the side of the man who she did so much to torpedo with her Steele Dossier caper, etc. It has to gall her that such a lightweight as Harris might become the first female president while building on that demonization of Trump and kowtowing to the anti-Israel bigots on the left.

probably right. Haven't seen much of Hillary out energetically campaigning for Kamala in the swing states.

The Warren story doesn't move the needle because I can't respect Elizabeth Warren any less than I already do.
